CHARLESTON -- Leslie Bohannon Lupisella and Sarah Leigh Moody have launched clothing boutique II Brunettes.

COLUMBIA -- The University of South Carolina has hired Mechelle English as senior director of development for the School of Medicine.

As the former vice president for institutional advancement at South Carolina State University, English oversaw that university's first capital campaign and designed the first annual and major gift programs, which generated more than $7 million.

English was chief advancement officer for LeMoyne-Owen College in Memphis, Tenn., and director of corporate and foundation relations and major gifts at Benedict College. She also was president and executive officer for the Trident Urban League in Charleston and has held management posts with the city of Charleston and the S.C. Department of Commerce.

GREENVILLE -- Jackson-Dawson Motorsports has hired Kent Prain Jr. as an account manager to support its ever-growing client list. Prain’s responsibilities include assisting the planning and execution of marketing activities for Jackson-Dawson.

TRAVELERS REST -- T&S Brass and Bronze Works has promoted Bill Stella to the position of director of international sales. In his new position, Stella will be responsible for leading international sales efforts in the foodservice industry.

Stella joined T&S in 2004 as International Sales Manager and is serving in his new role, effective immediately.
