First it was Google, then Adidas, now it’s Starbucks. Over the last week, some pretty big name companies have announced plans for facilities in South Carolina. And the whole state is benefiting: the Lowcountry gets Google, the Upstate gets Adidas and the Midlands snag Starbucks.
South Carolina is making some serious economic development inroads by attracting these companies. And other companies of varying sizes have announced plans this year to build or expand. It seems every other day I add a story to this Web site about a company’s plans in South Carolina.
Share your economic development comments or plans your company has to grow in the Palmetto State.
