The talk around town this week, particularly in the Charleston region, has been about Al Parish. A well-known local economist, Parish is accused of security fraud and could be responsible for the disappearance of as much as $134 million, according to a civil case brought by the U.S. Security and Exchange Commission. The FBI is also investigating Parish. Share your thoughts on this situation.

Proves that if something looks too good to be true, then it's probably not. Anybody who invests with a company without verifying the validity of the business or persons operating the business are taking as big a risk as if they were gambling at the black jack table in Vegas. If guilty, I hope Mr. Parish enjoys many years in prison.
