GREENVILLE – Elliott Davis LLC, the largest accounting and business advisory firm headquartered in South Carolina, has promoted Ira Bedenbaugh and Tom Childers principal. Bedenbaugh and Childers are based at Elliott Davis’ headquarters in Greenville.  

In addition to his role as firm principal, Bedenbaugh serves as a consultant in the firm’s medical group where he focuses on helping physician practices and hospitals improve how they manage short and long-term financial and operational challenges. His responsibilities include analyzing physician practice infrastructure, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing workflow processes and technologies that increase business performance and address government compliance issues.

Bedenbaugh served previously as a principal of Protime LLC Medical Management Consultant and the practice administrator of The Family Healthcare Center.

Childers serves as the director of quality control for the firm’s assurance and advisory group. In this role, he leads the design and maintenance of quality control policies and procedures and oversees the procedures required by the program.
