The S.C. Community Development Association, an affiliate of the Municipal Association of South Carolina, elected its new board members at the annual meeting in May at Kingston Plantation in Myrtle Beach.

President is Howard Garland, assistant manager/planning director, city of Darlington; vice president is Valeria Jackson, community development administrator, city of Columbia; secretary/treasurer is Robin Cooley, community and economic development manager, Central Midlands Council of Governments; and past president is Carol Mason McMeekin, community development planner, Catawba Regional Council of Governments. 

At-large members are Dale Culbreth, CDBG grants manager, S.C. Department of Commerce; Joy Locke, executive director, Main Street Beaufort; Barbara Mickens, grants coordinator, Fairfield County; Nora Sanders, community development administrator, Lower Savannah Council of Governments; Pam Davenport, community development project manager, Upper Savannah Council of Governments; and Erica Craft, director of economic and community development, city of Anderson.
