As you sit in traffic, thumping the steering wheel with your thumbs and numbly staring at the bumper in front of you, you can enjoy the look of a new South Carolina license plate.

The Department of Motor Vehicles is asking for Web user input to choose the new look. You can cast your vote through July 27 at the S.C. State Web site. The results will be announced Aug. 1.
