Hospital welcomes new owner |

SPARTABURG -- Mary Black Health System is officially under new ownership. Community Health Systems Inc. announced in March that it would acquire Mary Black's parent company, Triad Hospitals Inc., for $54 per share - about $6.8 billion - to create the largest publicly traded hospital company in the United States, according to a news release.
