Edwards, Obama to ‘shine a light’ on S.C. schools |

Former U.S. Sen. John Edwards, who once attended South Carolina public schools, will tour the state’s so-called Corridor of Shame in October as he and other Democratic presidential candidates highlight a region of the state suffering from woeful economies and crumbling schools.
