Columbia bank joins new wave in credit cards |

COLUMBIA -- With a wave of your hand, you can pay for a soda, shirt or show. Columbia's First Citizens is the first S.C.-based bank to issue credit cards embedded with a microchip that allows for quick purchases with a wave or tap at special checkout readers.
