CHARLESTON -- Palmetto Behavioral Health, a Charleston-based mental health provider offering services for mental illness and addictive disease at its four South Carolina locations, has promoted Cherie Tolley to CEO.

Tolley joined Palmetto Behavioral Health in 2002 as CEO of Palmetto Pee Dee Behavioral Health, the organization’s Florence facility, and has served as chief operating officer for the organization since 2006.

In her current role, she is responsible for management and oversight of all operations at Palmetto Behavioral Health, which employs more than 500 employees throughout its coastal and Pee Dee locations.
