Clemson professor elected vice president of National Reading Conference |

CLEMSON – Clemson University professor David Reinking has been elected as the National Reading Conference vice president. The position automatically leads to presidency of the conference in two years.
Reinking is the Eugene T. Moore Professor of Teacher Education. He just completed asix-year tenure as co-editor of the influential Reading Research Quarterly, and he is a former editor of the Journal of Literacy Research.
Clemson also is the academic home of professor Linda Gambrell, the incoming president of the International Reading Association, which has more than 100,000 members worldwide.
