Young completes logistics certification program |

GREENVILLE -- Grubb & Ellis Co., a provider of integrated real estate services, announced Brian Young, an associate with the industrial group, has completed the company’s logistics certification program, which is designed to equip brokerage professionals with the knowledge and skills to better assist corporate and third-party logistics clients achieve their supply chain management goals.
The program is the first of its kind to be offered at a major commercial real estate services firm, and is a requirement for members of Grubb & Ellis’ Global Logistics team.
The Grubb & Ellis Global Logistics Certification Program was developed in conjunction with the Center for Logistics Education and Research at the University of North Texas. It includes classroom-style and webinar training that covers topics ranging from supply chain management and optimization to warehouse design and technology, as well as, network analysis tools, intermodal transportation, security, ports, material handling and regulations affecting logistics activities. Instruction concerning supply chain conditions is based on true national logistics market intelligence tracked by Grubb & Ellis.
Young is one of about 60 professionals located throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and China who have completed the classroom training session of the certification program and is a member of the Global Logistics group.
