MYRTLE BEACH -- Until recently, Monair Hamilton of Myrtle Beach never questioned what her homeowners association did with her hard-earned money. After all, her grass got mowed regularly and her monthly dues covered her home insurance costs. That was before an 11-page letter from the neighborhood's property manager circulated that spurred a lawsuit.
