FAIRFIELD COUNTY -- In two months, a Fairfield County plant will close, leaving hundreds of workers without jobs. Plastech worker Carolyn says, "Everybody was just in shock. We had no idea we were closing." The Plastech plant in Winnsboro makes the painted exterior trim for automobiles. Plant manager Mike Milner tells WIS News 10 the doors will close February Fifth. He isn't sure if the layoffs will come in waves or all at once.
