MYRTLE BEACH -- With 700,000 people in South Carolina that have no insurance, health care coverage and the availability of medical care are key subjects for Republican and Democrat presidential candidates who plan to visit the Grand Strand for debates this month. Affordable health insurance is the primary health care issue that Grand Strand residents want presidential candidates to address. Universal coverage, refundable tax credits and making expenses tax deductible are some solutions that candidates have proposed.
