State's foreclosures fall |

GREENVILLE -- Residential foreclosures in South Carolina fell well below the national average for 2007, according to a company that makes an online market for such properties. RealtyTrac said that 0.22 percent of households in the state entered some stage of foreclosure during the year, which put South Carolina near the bottom in its 2007 U.S. Foreclosure Market Report. South Carolina ranked No. 39, meaning that all but 11 states had more per capita foreclosure activity.
