Todd Brown

A native of Columbia, Todd Brown started his banking career in the retail training program with Banks Trust of South Carolina. Prior to joining RBC Centura, he worked with Bank of America. Since joining RBC Centura, Brown has been credited with opening the Charleston office and has held many leadership positions, including commercial lender and Charleston market executive. Brown serves as commissioner for the city of Charleston Housing Authority and as a board member for Life Management. He is an active member of St. Michael’s Church.

Robert E. “Chip” Coffee Jr. began his banking career in the management training program with South Carolina National Bank in 1970. He later graduated from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University in 1978 and the National Commercial Lending Graduate School at the University of Oklahoma in 1982. Coffee has been involved in banking along South Carolina’s coast for more than 20 years. He has served on numerous boards and professional organizations, including as chairman of the South Carolina Bankers’ School and as a member of The South Carolina Bankers Association, The Citizens Advisory Council of the Hollings Cancer Center, The South Carolina Coastal Conservation League, the DeBordieu Club and The South Carolina State Board of Financial Institutions from 1992 until 2000. 


Howard Edwards Jr.

Howard Edwards Jr. joined Wachovia Securities in 2003 after 17 years as a financial adviser in Charleston. He helps oversee a six-member team and believes in adding a personal touch by discussing investment strategy with new clients. Edwards draws on his broad investment planning experience to use sophisticated software tools when making relevant portfolio recommendations. He received his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of South Carolina. A native Charlestonian, he served as moderator of the diaconate of First Scots Presbyterian Church.

BusinessWeek magazine profiled Hill as one of 98 CEOs younger than 40 in the United States and 140 CEOs under 40 in the world who run publicly traded companies listed on the NASDAQ or New York Stock Exchange. Hill has been a board member or officer for S.C. Student Loan Corp., S.C. Bankers Association, S.C. Bankers School, Central Carolina Community Foundation, S.C. Museum Foundation, the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, the USC Business Partnership Foundation and the USC Development Foundation.

He is a board member of the Storm Eye Institute at the Medical University of South Carolina and a member of the Hibernian Society and the Metropolitan Exchange Club. Morrow is a graduate of Clemson University and has more than 30 years of experience in financial institution management.

Woods has a master’s in business administration from Auburn University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the College of Charleston. He is a certified public accountant, a certified internal auditor and a graduate of CUNA Financial Management School and CUNA Southeast Regional Credit Union Management School.
