Avant is a life member in the Circle of Excellence with the Greater Columbia Association of Realtors and received the March of Dimes Real Estate Award in 2005.

Shane Doran has been with James Doran Co. since 1991. He is the great-great-grandson of William Doran, who, with his son James, founded the company in 1882. Doran is responsible for the overall growth and daily management of the company, including operations, marketing, finance, development, leasing and sales. Doran received his bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Florida. He sits on the board of the Humanities Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides affordable housing, and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

John Folsom joined Colliers Keenan in 1993 after having worked in the financial institution business for 20 years. He previously was president and CEO of South Carolina Federal Corp. At Colliers Keenan, Folsom devotes considerable effort to generating business opportunities for the company, its agents and LCK Construction Services, an affiliate of Colliers Keenan, as well as managing certain key client relationships. Folsom is a member of the board of directors of The Jackson Companies, president of the S.C. Independent School Association, trustee and president of Independent Colleges and Universities of S.C., trustee at Washington and Lee University and honorary member of Omicron Delta Kappa. In 1991, Folsom received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from Washington and Lee University.
