Kenneth Betsch has served as project manager/architect and project designer facilitating various strategic and master planning, large civic centers, convention centers, arenas, hotels, corporate headquarters, offices, research and college/university projects. His experience includes work on the North Charleston Coliseum, the Physical Education and Athletic Center for the College of Charleston, the U.S. Department of Agriculture Vegetable Laboratory, the Westvaco Office Building and the Market at Oakland. Betsch is a member of the Greenville Tech Foundation and Metropolitan Arts Council boards of directors.

Davis Jr. received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from The Citadel and then worked for the Corps of Engineers, U.S. Army Reserve for 12 years. He co-founded Davis & Floyd Inc. in 1954. Davis’ memberships include Tau Beta Pi’s “Eminent Engineers”(Citadel); Citadel Society of 1842; Citadel Foundation-Campaign Steering Committee; Lander University Foundation; American Society of Civil Engineers; S.C. Society of Professional Engineers; Chi Epsilon-Clemson; S.C. Historical Society (former president); Greenwood County Hall of Fame; life trustee for Independent Colleges and Universities of South Carolina Foundation; director emeritus, Countybank, Greenwood.

Donald J. Hamburger is responsible for directing, administering and coordinating the daily activities for the corporation. A registered professional engineer, he began with BP Barber as a design engineer in 1981 working on a variety of projects. In 1989 he moved to the company’s Charleston office as the regional vice president and has served on the corporate board of directors since 1997.  He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Water Works Association, National Society of Professional Engineers and the Water Environment Association. He is a past president of the American Council of Engineering Companies of S.C.

Samuel W. Hayes has more than 35 years of experience in the engineering industry. In 1986 Hayes, along with three partners, started a business and expanded it to 450 employees with offices in five states. In January 2006, Hayes joined ARCADIS as the Charleston area manager, and opened an office on Daniel Island. Hayes manages the day-to-day operations and leads the business development efforts. He is an inaugural member of the Urban Land Institute Center for Sustainable Leadership, an active member of the Developers Council (part of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce) and an active member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.

May has worked with several university clients, including Clemson University, Furman University, Bob Jones University, Winthrop University, Anderson College, Presbyterian College, Tri-County Technical College and Piedmont Technical College.
