CHARLESTON -- HDR has promoted Robert F. Clair to senior vice president and South Carolina program manager. Clair joined HDR in October 2005 as vice president. In the past year, the company has hired Russ Touchberry as a project engineer, Michael Darby as a hydrologist, Janel Weston as a hydraulic engineer-in-training, Tracy Lewis as a senior project manager, Melissa Ratledge as an environmental scientist, Mark S. Swatta as the national business class director for alternative delivery, Jason A. Lemieux as an environmental scientist, Walter R. Fletcher as an environmental engineer, Jason Johnson as a roadway design engineer, Chun Wong as a senior bridge engineer, Creta Opyd as project controls manager and Kimberly Langdale as administrative assistant. In addition to the new hires, the Charleston office also added an architecture division. Ronnie Bostain and Bob Olson will head up with division. David Parker, an engineer-in-training, has relocated to the Charleston office from Rock Hill, where he worked for HDR for more than three years and served as a roadway design engineer.
