GAFFNEY -- Because of current market conditions, Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. is implementing short, intermittent shutdowns at its Gaffney plant. The cutbacks are to maintain current staffing levels, said Amy Sills with Daimler Trucks North America's corporate communications office Thursday in a news release.
