Sunshine Week Update Print E-mail
Monday, 19 March 2007

Thanks to Reba Campbell at the S.C. Municipal Association for alerting me to the fact several South Carolina cities have passed resolutions affirming their commitment to open government.

The Municipal Association also worked closely with the S.C. Press Association last week to promote National Sunshine Week among South Carolina towns and cities. This is the second year the Municipal Association has partnered with the Press Association.

The association co-sponsored a satellite training program through ETV (click here to watch the streaming video of this program).

Check out these resources from the Municipal Association.

And hats off to the following cities for being committed to open government: Anderson, Blythewood, Clover, Greenville, McCormick, Pendleton, Rock Hill, Seneca, Surfside Beach, Trenton and Wellford.
