Union makes gains in S.C. |

COLUMBIA -- Workers won broader representation by unions in South Carolina this week, adding to gains made last year. About 450 freight workers at the United Parcel Service hub in West Columbia will be represented under a Teamsters contract ratified by workers nationwide, a spokeswoman said.
