MYRTLE BEACH -- Concrete Designs Inc. announced plans Monday to expand its operation, bringing at least 50 jobs to the Grand Strand. The concrete pipe manufacturing facility plans to invest $6 million into a new building off Holmestown Road near the intersection with U.S. 17 Bypass. Construction crews are working to ready 15 acres for the 21,000-square-foot plant.
