Food plant to reopen, create 100 jobs |

COLUMBIA -- A Georgia company will invest $4.29 million to reopen a food plant in West Columbia, the S.C. Commerce Department said Wednesday. Augusta-based FPL Food LLC will create 100 jobs “along with transferring a portion of its Augusta work force to the area,” the department said.
