Medical complex under way in Hilton Head |

HILTON HEAD -- A new medical complex that will offer cardiology, dentistry, plastic surgery, pediatrics and eye care is under construction next to Sun City Hilton Head. The project, at the intersection of U.S. 278 and S.C. 170, is the largest medical facility constructed in southern South Carolina since Coastal Carolina Hospital opened in late 2004. Construction began in October and the first building will open in June.
