Account executive/political advertising specialist, Comcast
From ballet dancer to aspiring lawyer, Charles Ballish Regueiro has quite a varied resume. With a degree in ballet, Ballish Regueiro had a first career dancing all around the world.
After their son was born, he and his wife relocated to Charleston, where Ballish Regueiro took a job with Comcast and will graduate from the Charleston School of Law on May 10.
“I think I gravitated to the entertainment business because it allowed me to use my creativity in my everyday life. I really enjoy coming up with advertising concepts and seeing them come to fruition. Sales, like the theater, is a performance. Just like the stage, a salesperson is always ‘on.’”
In his personal life, Ballish Regueiro volunteers with the Walk for Autism. He created a long-format TV show called “Autism: A Family Struggle,” which won a Golden Palmetto award. Ballish Regueiro serves as executive producer of “The Law with Professor Lorri” on Comcast C2, a program created to educate the general public about the law. And, for the last three seasons, he has volunteered with the Charleston Youth Hockey Association.
Favorite music artist/musical genre: Classical.
Best stress reliever: Running.
Favorite vacation spot: Verona, Italy.
Favorite hour of the day and why: 6 a.m. Every day my 6-year-old son, Alex, wakes me up by hopping in bed and telling me how much he loves me. He is our family’s alarm clock, and he takes pride in punctuality.
