robert-bradham.jpgAge: 36
Senior manager, Dixon Hughes PLLC

If Robert Bradham had followed the advice of an aptitude test he took before starting at Clemson University, he’d most likely be a funeral director. Bradham did realize he has a compassion for people and solid business skills. Combined with his analytical and detail-oriented personality, Bradham decided public accounting would be the right profession for him.

When he’s not advising clients, Bradham serves on the board of directors of the Ronald McDonald House of Charleston. As treasurer since 2004, Bradham drafted bank proposals and negotiated loan terms for the $3 million expansion of the local Ronald McDonald House.

Bradham is also a deacon at Fort Johnson Baptist Church on James Island, also serving on the Financial Freedom for Changed Lives Committee working to retire the existing debt of the church’s building program.

In all his efforts, Bradham is fulfilling a personal goal: “To provide the best of class service and expertise to my clients, promote a working environment for my colleagues that is second to none and give back generously to the community in which I live and work.”

Books on your nightstand: “Doing Business the Chick-fil-A Way” by Truett Cathy, “Your Best Life Now” by Joel Osteen and the Bible.

Favorite restaurant:
Outback Steakhouse.

Person you would like to meet:
Jesus, Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods.

Favorite hour of the day and why:
6 p.m. when I’m at home this is a great family hour with my beautiful wife and our three young children. The kids enjoy racing to the door and they like me to pick them up and twirl them around. They refer to it as the “run-over.”
