Personally, Ted Gillgrist strives to live his life as an expression of his faith in Christ and to demonstrate Christ’s love.
As a small group leader at Riverbluff Church, Gillgrist works with his small group in providing a children’s program at Midland Park Ministry Center every Wednesday night while parents attend English as a second language classes. He also plays keyboards with the church praise and worship team.
In his professional life, Gillgrist uses his skills in strategic planning, critical thinking and process improvement to manage the inventory and inventory investment strategy at William M. Bird and Co., a floor covering distributor.

Favorite restaurant: Gennaro’s in North Charleston.
Best stress reliever: Playing the piano, playing with my kids.
Favorite vacation spot: North Myrtle Beach.
Favorite hour of the day and why: 8 p.m. when all the kids are in bed and my wife and I can have our first uninterrupted conversation.
