Executive vice president, Johnson & Johnson Inc.
Harry Johnson’s grandfather founded Johnson & Johnson Inc. in 1930. And Johnson couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take up the family business, an insurance wholesale company specializing in property and casualty business.
“The chance to work and grow our company with my two brothers was an opportunity that could not be passed up,” he said. “I cannot imagine anything any better.”
A volunteer with Trident United Way, Johnson is working to lead his company to become one of the top 10 MGA/wholesalers in the country while also being known as an organization that gives back to the community.
As he oversees the daily operation of his company, Johnson is quick to employ some solid career advice, recognizing the lack of candor blocks good ideas, fast action and good people from contributing all their ideas, he said.
