CEO, Corporate DevelopMint LLC
Stacy Oldfield said her profession chose her. In college, Oldfield knew she wanted to work in the corporate world but wasn’t sure in what capacity.
“I was given opportunities early in my career to develop my operational and analytical skills,” she said. “It ended up being something that I did well, and as a bonus, really enjoyed doing.”
As CEO for Corporate DevelopMint, a consulting firm that works with nonprofits, Oldfield oversees the company’s operations and works with the president on strategies that will position Corporate DevelopMint for sound future growth.
“Right now I’m very fortunate to be a part of a company that is generating a lot of excitement and attention. That excitement allows us to attract very talented professionals. And there is nothing better than being surrounded with high-level, quality people every day.”
Oldfield volunteers her time with the S.C. Secretary of State Nonprofit Advisory Board, the S.C. Association of Nonprofit Organizations’ Financial Management Content Focus Area Committee and its Cooperative Purchasing Task Force. She also participated in the 2007 Principal for a Day program.
Favorite music artist/musical genre: Country and rap/hip hop.
Best stress reliever: Quiet time spent with my husband. He has a very calming effect on me.
Favorite vacation spot: Hawaii.
Favorite hour of the day and why: Dinner time. We typically cook dinner as a family. Everyone gets involved, including our 5-year-old daughter. Then, we sit at the table with as few distractions as possible. The best conversations of the day come at that hour.
