Vice president, Weatherholtz Masonry LLC
Kinnett Weatherholtz fell in love with math in high school and decided to study industrial and systems engineering at The Ohio State University. She first started a career in IT consulting but after five years, the pull of the family business was too strong to resist.
“Following in the footsteps of two generations of masonry contractors, I was fortunate to find a unique application for engineering in the masonry industry,” she said.
As company vice president, Weatherholtz oversees a host of corporate and operations management tasks while also implementing a monthly bonus program for foremen and developing an extensive safety training program and a human resources training program.
In the community, Weatherholtz is a member of the American Subcontractors Association board, a member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers, a member of the Charleston Lions Club and a committee member of the Charity Golf Classic to benefit the Medical University of South Carolina’s Storm Eye Institute. She’s also a member of the Charleston Contractors Association and a member of the Construction Financial Management Association.
