A commitment to quality, flexibility and dependability has contributed to Low Country Case & Millwork Inc.’s growth and success.
Low Country Case & Millwork is one of only four certified members of the Architectural Woodwork Institute in South Carolina. When it comes to flexibility, Low Country Case & Millwork has implemented the technology needed to satisfy client requests for a large number of custom designs and finishes.
In terms of dependability, President Robert Stasiukaitis said the company’s track record speaks for itself. In 17 years of operation, the company has never missed a deadline, he said.
By exceeding customer expectations, Low Country Case & Millwork retains more than 90% of its customers, Stasiukaitis said.
Between 2005 and 2006, the company’s revenue increased by 50%. One way Low Country Case & Millwork is accommodating its growth is with a 15,000-square-foot expansion of its manufacturing facility. This will allow the company to increase its production and efficiency. It is also beginning to expand services into North Carolina and Georgia.
“Our goal is to become a regional manufacturer in the next five years and then one of the largest manufacturers in the Southeast in the next 10 years,” Stasiukaitis said.
But dealing with competition is a challenge for any successful business. With outsourcing and overseas manufacturing, Stasiukaitis said small businesses simply can’t compete in terms of price. But his company can compete when it comes to quality, flexibility and dependability.
“(Certain overseas competitors), for example, cannot produce a product of the same high level of quality; they cannot provide a product in the same time frame; nor can they offer the same levels of customization as LCCM,” Stasiukaitis said. “Our customers are willing to negotiate contracts with us because they know it will be done right and it will be on time.”
