Investment firm's records subpoenaed

GREENVILLE -- The state Attorney General's Office said it has subpoenaed financial records and documents as part of a civil inquiry of an Upstate investment firm. The subpoena asks Easley-based Capital Investment Funding LLC and its manager, Arthur Field, to produce seven types of financial statements, including a description of property acquired by the company between 2006 and this year, and 17 categories of documents, including operating agreements, minutes of board meetings, bank statements and tax returns.
