Manager lays out airport options

MYRTLE BEACH -- Horry County will have to spend a lot of money upfront to build a new airport terminal if it wants to keep airlines' fees down at a future facility, a project manager said Wednesday. The current terminal does not meet updated building codes, so the county has two options for a new terminal, said Rick Ott, a senior executive vice president of M.B. Kahn Construction Co., the company managing the project.
