Georgetown electrical contracting firm to grow |

GEORGETOWN -- A Georgetown County electrical contracting company has announced plans to expand its operations, which could mean 14 to 16 new jobs and a new facility in the Georgetown County Airport Industrial Park. South Strand Contractors Inc., which primarily works on commercial and high-end residential projects on the Grand Strand, is finalizing the land purchase with Georgetown County Council. It hopes to have the new facility finished by the end of the year.
