NORTH CHARLESTON -- Steve & Barry’s , a New York-based specialty retailer of casual apparel, will open a 75,000-square-foot store next month at Festival Centre in North Charleston. The retailer is known for its selection of jeans, T-shirts, shorts, sweatshirts, and footwear for men, women and children.

Founded in 1985, Steve & Barry’s has nearly 200 stores at malls and shopping centers across the nation. The Festival Centre location will be Steve & Barry’s sixth South Carolina store.

Festival Centre is located at 5101 Ashley Phosphate Road. Other stores in the center include Hamrick’s, Fred’s and Tuesday Morning.
