ROCK HILL – Springs Creative Group LLC, a supplier of retail fabrics, has moved its headquarters to a newly-renovated space in the historic Cotton Factory in Rock Hill.

Springs Creative supplies retail fabrics, packaged crafts and specialty fabrics to companies including Disney, NASCAR and Coca-Cola, as well as to major retailers throughout the United States and Canada, including Wal-Mart, Jo-Ann Fabrics, Target and JCPenney.

The new headquarters will house the company’s “corporate collaboratory” and design center and houses the company’s consumer products group. It will also include the Historical Library of Textile Design, the largest private collection of more than 350,000 fabric swatches dating back to the 1800s.

"This new design center is a creative workspace for our customers, students and other design professionals," said Derick Close, CEO and owner of Springs Creative Products Group LLC. "We believe this move demonstrates our commitment to the community and a deep respect for the history and the roots of the textile industry. We are creating an environment that recognizes the past and embraces the future and are committed to the further revitalization of downtown Rock Hill and the expansion of the Textile Corridor Project."
