Sanford signs off on budget, blasts legislators |

GREENVILLE -- Gov. Mark Sanford gave the Legislature "some small measure of credit" Wednesday for not making a budget deficit worse, then blasted what he characterized as free-spending lawmakers who failed to provide for core state services and for choosing to “grow government faster than the underlying economy.”
