Apple opening first S.C. store Saturday |

CHARLESTON -- Apple will open its first South Carolina retail location on Saturday in Charleston. A large crowd is expected by the time doors open at 10 a.m. Saturday at 301 King St. Apple stores not only sell the company’s computers, iPhones and iPods, but also offer warranty work, free workshops, children’s programs and “genius bars” that offer one-on-one advice.
