CHARLESTON -- Charleston-based Noel Corp., a supplier and manufacturer of automotive sealants and accessories, has optioned eight acres at the Lowcountry Regional Airport Park to build a 15,000-square-foot facility and bring new jobs to Colleton County.

“Our initial phase for warehousing and manufacturing automotive sealants will only require 5,000 square feet,” said Noel President Chris Rodriguez. “Our future plans are to add an additional 10,000 to 15,000 square feet to offer green products and services like green roofs, solar power and environmentally safe products such as organic plant, fruit and vegetable compounds.”

The company hopes to break ground April and start operations by August. Plans are to employ up to 10 workers from the Walterboro area, Rodriguez said.

Noel’s customers include Auto Zone, Advance Auto Parts, NAPA and O’Reilly Auto Parts.
