CLEMSON -- For years, Clemson University has wanted to make its advanced materials research program a "magnet" to draw high-tech entrepreneurs and corporate researchers. Now the magnet appears to be working, albeit in a small way. Two high-tech startup companies from Florida are leasing space from Clemson, drawn by the university's focus on advanced materials.
