SensorTech gets $200,000 in funds from state agency Print E-mail

GREENVILLE -- SensorTech Inc. began with a graduate student's discovery in a laboratory at Clemson University. Today, the 13-month-old startup company is hatching plans to storm the U.S. market for "load cells," devices used to measure pressure, force or torque. The fledgling firm is nearly ready to enter the load cell market in part because of $200,000 in funding it received from S.C. Launch, an arm of the South Carolina Research Authority that provides seed capital for startup companies.
