SCWTC launches Embassy Series |

CHARLESTON -- The South Carolina World Trade Center launched its Embassy Series on Wednesday, hosting Ambassador Jose Octavio Bordon of Argentina at The Harbour Club of Charlesto. This is the first of a series of events featuring representatives of countries that have strong ties with Charleston and its port.
The primary focus of The Embassy Series is to spotlight the economy, trade and investment climate in various countries. Ambassadors form Barbados, Italy and India are to be welcomed in the coming months.
Ambassador Michael King of Barbados will be the features guest on April 18 and Ambassador Giovanni Castellaneta of Italy on May 16. The date for the visit by Ambassador Jassal of India has not been finalized.
