Real estate report: Fewer buyers from abroad |

MYRTLE BEACH -- Fewer Realtors are seeing foreign home buyers this year because of the weak economy and the expectation that home prices will continue falling, according to a recent National Association of Realtors report. Still, the South has remained a popular spot to buy - attracting 46.8 percent of international buyers, NAR's 2008 profile of international home buying activity shows. Local experts say that foreign business has been relatively steady if not slightly up this year thanks to interest from Canadian buyers.
