Too busy for games Print E-mail
Monday, 02 April 2007

Here’s a story that just has to be a sad commentary on our lives. It’s about game makers creating faster games to accommodate our busy lifestyles and shorter attention spans. The result: Monopoly Express and a LifePod for The Game of Life that keeps points electronically. Look for even more speedy game options coming soon.

What happened to playing Monopoly for hours? You just played until someone won or until everyone was tired three hours later. And I thought keeping track of points yourself was a good way to stay brushed up on your addition and multiplication skills.

What do you think? Are the game-making companies selling out or simply staying current with the times? Post a comment below.
